I love it when I’m listening to a song and it feels like it was written for me. As if the writer and singer found the hidden key to unlock me and decided to open up my mind and fly around my thoughts collecting pieces of me in the form of words for this one song. As if they looked through my eyes and into my soul where they found the melody for the words they wrote. A song written for me. A song that feels like an autobiography of my feelings. A song that slips through my defenses and finds its way to my heart. I love that feeling of being understood. As if in this one song all that hides away inside me is exposed with their words, their melody…their beautiful music.
This is why I will always treasure music. One song can change a life. One song changed mine for the better…
